Despite the joyous atmosphere of the group routines—including a nostalgic "Team Wildcats" dance to High School Musical—the night ended with a difficult farewell. After combining the judges' scores and viewer votes, actress Julia Stiles and her partner Ezra Sosa were eliminated from the competition.
